Congratulations!
You’ve Booked Your Coaching & Mentoring Taster Session
I’m really looking forward to our session. Here are some tips on how to make the most of our time together.

How We Work Together
Some Basics
- Protect the time in your calendar and, if possible, allow yourself a quick breather before we start
- Have your tech sorted, including working access to Zoom
- Have somewhere private to talk so you can be open
- Arrive on time so we can make full use of the session
Running Order
Everyone’s session is slightly different, but typically follows this format:
- 10-mins for introductions and ways of working
- 60-mins for discussing your chosen topic
- 20-mins for defining your next steps, including discussing the option of further support
Your Discussion Topic
A one-off taster coaching session is most effective when:
- You are specific on what you’d like help with
- We focus on one topic, get under the skin of it, and help you explore and move things forward
- You’re as open with me as you can possibly be – it’s all confidential, safe and free of judgement in my coaching sessions!
How We Work Together
It’s good for you to know the following:
- I’ll always start by asking what you would like to discuss, and how I can best help you. Being prepared for that is helpful.
- Everything we discuss is totally confidential.
- It’s a safe and judgement-free environment – you can speak freely.
- I take notes by typing as we are talking – these are also fully confidential and secure.
- I’ll adapt to your needs in the session to help you get the best outcome.
- There will be questions, and maybe some challenge, if you are OK with that.
It’s time to enjoy your session. I’ll see you soon!
